This gorgeous ammolite gold pendant is about 2 inches tall and 1 inch wide. Ammolite is a rare organic gemstone formed from the fossilized shells of ammonites, ancient marine animals related to squid and octopus and is found primarily in the Bearpaw Formation of Alberta, Canada. I wrapped this beautiful stone in high quality gold filled wire from Rio Grande 14/20. The shell sits on a resin backing to keep the delicate shell safe. It comes with a matching 18 inch gold filled chain and pretty gift box.
