This flashy ammolite pendant is about 1.75 inches tall and .5 inches wide. Ammolite is a rare, iridescent organic gemstone formed from the fossilized shells of ancient ammonites, found primarily in Alberta, Canada’s Bearpaw Formation. Ammolite is valued for its vibrant, shifting rainbow colors created by light interference. I used high quality gold filled wire from Rio Grande. It comes with a pretty gift box and a matching 18 inch matching chain.
