Description
This natural beauty is about 2.5 inches tall and .5 inches wide. I added gold filled and rose gold filled wire and both gold filled and rose gold filled beads to compliment the pendant. I purchased the stone from Rare Earth Mining Co. at the Tucson Gem show. Sonoran Sunrise is a vibrant, relatively new gemstone, first discovered in 2006 at the Milpillas Copper Mine in Sonora Mexico. It is a natural combination of red Cuprite and blue-green Chrysocolla, often separated by black Tenorite. Known for its striking contrast, this stone is highly prized for jewelry, though now rare due to the mine’s depletion. This beauty comes with a matching 18 inch stainless steel chain and pretty gift box. If you prefer a different length of chain, let me know and I will be happy to exchange it for you.
`All of my pieces are made with high quality wire from Rio Grande. These are not costume pieces that will chip away or rust over time. They will last forever if taken care of, which is why I include a free polishing cloth with every order. Quality is very important to me!
